Weekly

Every Monday morning at 9 am we gather in the meeting room, we plan the upcoming week. Your standup should include: what your deliverables are for the week, including deadlines; where you need help or are blocked; any other special updates.

Team Lunch

Wednesday is foodie time. Every week one team member selects their new favourite restaurant in the hood and takes out the team for lunch. Once back in the office it is voting time where everyone ranks the restaurant. If it makes the cut, it gets listed on the hy.am foodie list. Maybe you will soon be hy.am‘s next super foodie.

Creative Breakfast

An inspiring lift of creativity is what you can expect during our breakfasts on Fridays. Every week one team member has the opportunity to present something that inspires them – this can be anything from your favourite typeface to the last exhibition that you saw. In an easy environment we exchange our interests and have refreshing discussions before starting the last day of the week.

hy.am unplugged

Every first Thursday of the month after work, we go all analogue and do something as a team. From action and sport to culture and art - each activity has a different focus.

Show & Tell

With many projects running parallel, chances are that you are not aware of what everyone else in the studio is working on. Every four weeks everyone gets the opportunity to present their latest work (if you don’t have anything to show don’t worry about it) and get feedback from the team in a chilled atmosphere, while having pizza and drinks.

All Hands

In the “allstars” Slack channel you can continuously give feedback and make suggestions of what you would change to make the working environment in the studio even better. Once a month the ideas are gathered into an agenda and discussed in this meeting.

Studio parties

Every six months we invite our network, including friends, former coworkers and clients for some drinks and creative conversations. Grab a beer, meet new people and get r3kt.

Off-sites

Every three months we go full analogue for a team offsite. Our off-sites are known for the great combination of work and pleasure. We use this time for team building and ideation. From screen-printing to hiking in the Sächsische Schweiz, we choose fun activities to bring the team together.
